The modern V12 Aston Martin DBS was unveiled in 2007, entered customer production for 2008 and ended in 2012. The fixed-roof Coupé came first; the DBS Volante open-top derivative joined in 2009. Both use a 5,935 cc V12, while manual and Touchtronic 2 automatic versions exist. Separate reveal year, build date, model year and first registration, then confirm the VIN, body and transmission. Oversteer rotates moreUndersteer is a condition in which a vehicle’s yaw rate is lower than the reference response for its speed and steering angle, so its path turns less than intended. Oversteer is the opposite: yaw rate is higher and the vehicle rotates more than intended. Either can arise from speed, steering, braking, acceleration, tyres, surface, load, alignment, suspension or faults. Front-, rear- and all-wheel drive do not guarantee one response. Electronic stability control can brake individual wheels and alter propulsion torque to assist, but grip remains finite.

Use the exact owner’s manual, instrument display and standard calibration for that model.
